You've heard the saying, "All's well that ends well..." I really like a good ending to a sporting event or a really good ending to a movie. However, I'm a huge fan of the saying, "All's well that BEGINS well."
Here we are, off and running into a new year...2021. Whew! We've come through a challenging 2020. I'm a big fan of doing whatever I can to get off to a GREAT beginning to 2021.
Getting off to a GREAT beginning is a nice thought but having a few nice thoughts are well, just nice thoughts. I realize I must take my thoughts and turn them into actions. I mean a goal with out a plan and actions is just a wish.
Positive Morning Reminders The morning is vital. It’s the foundation from which the day is built. And that’s why we have to be mindful of how we speak to ourselves when we first wake up. What we tell ourselves first thing in the morning is a big part of what we hear for the rest of the day.

My goal is not to try to get rid of all of my negative thoughts, feelings and life situations, that's impossible. My goal is to change my RESPONSE to them.
The ultimate measure of my wisdom and strength is how calm I am when facing any given situation. Calmness is indeed a SUPERPOWER! I'm ready to put on my cape!
3. I won't always be a priority to others. That's why I have to be a priority to myself. I will learn to respect myself, take care of myself, and I've become my own support system. I've realized my needs matter so I do what it takes to meet those needs. I don't wait for others to choose me, I choose me now!
Truth be told, today is really the beginning, for all of us, it's a NEW DAY! We can prevent the wrong thoughts and beliefs from getting the best of us as we move forward with our lives in 2021. We can train our minds to make the very best of the present moment, even when our circumstances are far less than ideal. All it takes is practice.
